The Love Is Blind pods are open and ready for new romance as Netflix announced the fresh batch of singletons looking for love in season three.

Series two had us on the edge of our seats as hopeless romantics Danielle Ruhl, Nick Thompson, Iyanna McNeely, Jarrette Jones, Natalie Lee (and who can forget the unpredictability of Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee) embark on a life-changing journey.

The hit programme – which first aired in 2020 – follows a group of singles who get to know each other without seeing each other, and only meet face to face after they decide to get married.

And after that, it’s pretty much go go go, as they jet off on honeymoons before moving in together, with their weddings taking place weeks later.

Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa Minnillo are also taking their rightful place as presenters, with Netflix sharing a video unveiling the dazzling new cast.

Chiropractor Ashley, 29, kicked things off saying that she’s ‘looking for a best friend and a leader.’

Data engineer Sikiru, 34, believes the one thing that would get on his partner’s nerves would be ‘snacking all the time.’

31-year-old Kalekia, an ICU nurse practitioner, represented most of us in the UK right now when she declared that she’s ‘super sneezy all the time.’

Addressing their pet peeves, dermatologist Valerie, 35, isn’t a fan of people who are on their ‘phones at social outings.’

And 27-year-old realtor Cole simply insisted that if you’re a bad driver you should ‘get off the road.’

Hyping us up for the inevitable chaos, customer success manager Chelsey, 27, enthused: ‘I’m ready to rock it out if you are.’

As with prior seasons of the show, Love Is Blind season 3 continues to place contestants in a dating experiment in which they are forced to make love connections with people they don’t get the pleasure of seeing face to face first.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long to immerse ourselves in the chaos as new episodes will premiere on the streaming platform on Wednesday October 19, with subsequent weekly drops.

In a brief trailer, one man can be heard searching for his partner, yelling: ‘Where you at, wifey? Come at me.’

We can’t wait!

Love Is Blind season three will premiere on Netflix on October 19.
