Vick Hope explains how she lost her finger in a scary accident aged three in tonight’s episode of Shopping With Keith Lemon.

The Radio 1 presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing star reveals to Keith Lemon and Jordan North that one finger on her right hand was severed off when she tried to hug a statue in Zimbabwe.

In a preview clip ahead of the episode, Vick says: ‘I was in Zimbabwe in a shop and there were all these little statues of Pygmy warriors and I was like “I want to be their friend”.

‘I went to give one a hug and it fell against another one, scissored, and chopped it straight off.’

Keith, real name Leigh Francis, asks Vick whether she felt conscious of her hands during her school years, to which she responds that she subconsciously hides it when she holds things.

But it’s not just Vick who goes out of her way to conceal her extremities.

‘I’ve got no toenail on my big toe and when I go on holiday and go to the beach, I put that toe in the sand,’ Keith shares.

Keith is back to join celebrities as they head out on fun-filled shopping trips where he uses his unique interview style to ask the questions no one else dares to ask.

This week he goes shopping for homeware with singer Tom Grennan and budget fashion with Radio 1 presenters Vick and Jordan.

Vick is currently loved up with music star Calvin Harris. The couple sparked engagement rumours in May after Vick was seen sporting a very large ring on her finger.

It’s thought Calvin forked out an eye-watering £1million for the dazzler in a grand gesture of his love after a short time dating in secret. But despite the huge diamond, the pair are reportedly planning a ‘low-key’ wedding with a small group of close family and friends.

‘Although it is a stunning ring and extremely expensive, the couple isn’t going for a flashy or expensive wedding,’ a source recently claimed earlier in the year.

‘The extravagance of the rock will eclipse how much they’re going to spend on the big day itself as they want to keep it low key and simple with just a core of close friends and family present.’
