Lindsay Lohan gives us festive feels in Falling for Christmas trailer ahead of Hollywood return-Rishma Dosani-Entertainment – Metro
We dare you not to feel festive.
Lindsay Lohan is on her way to save Christmas and we couldn’t be more excited.
The Mean Girls actress confirmed her return to our screens in upcoming Netflix movie, Falling For Christmas.
Thankfully, we’ve all ended up on the streaming platform’s nice list as the 36-year-old, who plays Sierra Belmont, unveiled the new trailer today, giving us all the festive feels.
In the clip, she said in a voiceover: ‘When people look at me all they see is the spoiled daughter of the hotel magnate.
‘I just want people to remember me for more than my last name.’
Sierra may get her wish soon as disaster strikes on a romantic ski-trip, just as he gets down on one knee.

In one very dramatic sequence, she slips and falls off the mountain and is later found by a helpful lodge owner (Chord Overstreet), who offers her a place to stay over Christmas while she recuperates and recovers her memory.
It appears her wish may become reality as disaster strikes when she takes a ski trip with her boyfriend.
After he proposes to her on a mountaintop, things go south as they get caught in a storm and she slips from his grasp and falls off the cliff edge.
She is later found by a lodge owner, played by Glee’s Chord Overstreet, who offers her a place to stay while she tries to recover her memories in the days leading up to Christmas.

But as the festive period brings them closer, will love blossom before her memory returns?
In a little nod to Lindsay’s iconic turn as Cady Heron, Jingle Bell Rock played over the top towards the end of the trailer.
Falling for Christmas is slated to be released on November 10, meaning we have just over a month to wait.
Jack Wagner, George Young and Olivia Perez have made up the cast, with Janeen Damian serving as director.

The official synopsis reads: ‘A newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Lindsay Lohan) gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.’
Lindsay became a household name with Parent Trap in 1998, marking her debut on the big screen before she went on to appear in Life-Size, Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen and Just My Luck.
Although she had huge success in Hollywood, her personal life began to overshadow her career and she took a backseat from the spotlight in recent years to concentrate on her business.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter on her eagerly-anticipated return to the screen, she said: ‘I tried to avoid letting distractions on set get in the way. I’m very much to myself before and after a scene.
‘I like to get in my own headspace and prepare quietly on the side. But for me, my whole life, acting is like riding a bicycle.’
Falling For Christmas will be released on Netflix on November 10.
