Charlene White is said to be one of the latest stars to sign up for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 as the reported line-up for the show continues to shape up.
This week, it was reported that comedian and former Strictly Come Dancing star Seann Walsh was heading into the jungle, following claims that fellow stars including singer Boy George and Love Island’s Olivia Attwood will also be claiming beds in the camp.
It’s now emerged that Loose Women star Charlene is supposedly going to be among their ranks, and is expected to add ‘good value’ to chats around the campfire.
The 42-year-old has been an anchor on the ITV programme since 2021, and is also widely recognised for reporting on ITV News.
According to an ITV source, she’s been described as a ‘great signing’ for I’m A Celebrity.
‘She’s got some strong opinions, but is really personable and will be good value around the Aussie campfire,’ they told The Sun.
‘They hope her journalistic background means she will eke out some illuminating conversations from her campmates, which shouldn’t be hard given some of the people she’ll be sleeping in a bunk next to.’
The source added that other rumoured campmates such as Seann and Boy George ‘both have a very colourful background’, so fans of the show ‘should expect a proper grilling from Charlene’.
