Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton said she was ‘cringing’ and covered her head in her hands when she was forced to watch a playback of her routine.
The TV presenter is attempting to win the Glitterball Trophy on the BBC’s juggernaut series, along with professional partner Gorka Márquez.
The 39-year-old’s first dance was a charming rendition of the American Smooth, which she performed to Aretha Franklin’s You Send Me.
Next up, Helen and Gorka opted for a more uptempo performance with the Cha Cha Cha, delighting judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
Receiving solid scores across the board, Helen and Gorka were awarded 53 points out of a maximum of 80 for the two routines combined.
Ahead of the third week, where they will dance the Viennese Waltz to Hopelessly Devoted To You from Grease, the duo appeared on Friday’s It Takes Two.
When asked by host Rylan Clark if she enjoyed her first live performance, Helen responded: ‘It didn’t come naturally to me. It’s still haunting me. And you [Gorka] said just go out there and have a good time. Enjoy it, have a dance.

With footage showing her week one dance rolling the background, Helen put her head in her hands and said: ‘Oh my god, it’s making me cringe.’
Rylan said: ‘You said it makes you cringe. I’m going to say this: it’s not often you’re put in front of a three-way mirror on telly and told to be sexy, but it’s Strictly. I’ve got to say you served it.’

He continued: ‘Can you feel that confidence growing because I know you’ve admittedly said I don’t feel like that one?’
Helen replied: ‘I don’t. Some women walk into a club at night. I think, “Yeah, who am I going to get off with? Or who am I going to get a drink with?”

Rylan joked: ‘Can you stop talking about me on a night out please.’
Helen carried on: ‘But some go out and just have a chat. And I think a lot of people are probably like me, like you don’t necessarily walk into a room and go, “Hey, look at me!”
Helen previously told Metro.co.uk that Gorka’s fiancée Gemma Atkinson had given her some much-needed advice.
Considering Gemma reached the final of the show when she took part with Aljaž Škorjanec in 2017, she’s had valuable advice for Helen on what to say to Gorka in training, and to Gorka on ‘taking a step back’ during his ‘intense’ rehearsals.

Helen explained: ‘Obviously Gemma, Gorka and I have loads of mutual friends, people in common, so for me, I’m really grateful that I’ve got him. A lot of people spend time getting to know each other, whereas I already felt like I knew you,’ the Countryfile star said.
‘Gemma’s like, “Say this to him, say that to him,” and she’s done the show so she gets it. I feel lucky, because I’ve got two people.’
It Takes Two continues on Monday at 6.30pm on BBC Two and iPlayer
