Kym Marsh is not here for rumours of a Strictly curse affecting her marriage.
The former Coronation Street actress is currently partnered with Italian pro Graziano Di Prima on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, sailing through to week three after winning votes with their jive and Viennese waltz.
But when she’s not dominating the dancefloor, the Morning Live presenter is all loved up at home with husband Scott, whom she married last October.
While the glitzy dance show has become famous for dividing real-life couples (Seann Walsh and Rebecca Humphries being the most scandalous example) and playing Cupid by bringing new ones together (like Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton), Kym has no concerns.
The TV star, 46, has a great bond with her dance partner, 28, but insists her army officer hubby ‘doesn’t care’ about the so-called Strictly curse.
She told The Sun that her partner is pretty used to her filming raunchy scenes, and was even in the audience when she got her kit off for a role.

‘I know everyone talks about it [the curse] but Scott really couldn’t care less.
‘I’m an actor and he came and watched me on Fatal Attraction where I took my clothes off on stage, which was pretty daunting.’
Kym added: ‘He’s just supportive and has already brought us closer together. We usually only see each other on weekends as he is based at Sandhurst in the week while I’m up in Manchester, so me being down south so often actually means we are closer.’
Despite having performing experience on both stage and screen, Kym recently shared that she had a ‘full-on meltdown’ before the opening night of Strictly.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the soap star shared that the celebrities all swap tips and chat in a newly created Strictly WhatsApp group, which includes the likes of Will Mellor, Richie Anderson, Ellie Simmonds, and Matt Goss.
Kym said: ‘I’d said to everyone, and even on the WhatsApp group, that I’ll be fine as long as I don’t have to go first. Anything but first.’
But, first Kym did go, as she opened series 20 of the competition with her jive to Yes by Merry Clayton.
Prior to taking to the floor, her pro partner needed to ‘calm her down’ because she was so nervous.
Kym added: ‘Although, it was funny because I think I was more nervous in the dress rehearsal than I was on the actual day. It was really weird.’

Graziano also amitted: ‘It’s such a big thing, Strictly. But not just that we opened the show – that is something we’ll never forget. You’re not opening the show that night, you’re opening the season.’
This weekend, Kym will tackle the Charleston to If My Friends Could See Me Now from Sweet Chariot from Strictly’s coveted Movie Week.
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One.
