Dermot O’Leary is among the 16,000 people to have completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
The This Morning presenter, 49, beamed as he held up his medal after finishing the 13.1 mile race, which takes runners through four of London’s royal parks, on Sunday
He joined stars including EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy and Love Island star Priya Goldpadas.
After finishing the race, a thrilled Dermot said: ‘For me, what I enjoyed today was the privilege of being able to run around our beautiful city and to be in places that you take for granted and you drive past, or you walk past, but actually every corner you turn, there’s something incredible to see and you almost forget you’re running – to start with!
‘And then it’s a beautifully [collegial] moment. Everyone’s in it together, and I know that sounds like such a cliche and you expect that with the full marathon. I’ve run many halves, you don’t expect that as much with a half – so the Royal Parks, it’s a lovely moment.’
Jenni Falconer set runners on their way for the 15th annual Royal Parks Half Marathon, which has raised nearly £60million for more than 1200 charities since its inception.

The race takes runners through four of London’s eight Royal Parks, including Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park, and Kensington Gardens.
Dermot, who became known after presenting on T4 and becoming a member of the Big Brother presenting team, recently opened up to Metro.co.uk about fame.

‘I’m very lucky, I’ve got a lovely level of fame that I’m very happy at,’ he said.
‘Everything kind of happened to me relatively gradually. And also when you’re a presenter, or a host or a broadcaster, whatever you want to call it, it is a kind of different fame.
‘People, they’re not hanging on your every word, like you’ve written a song, or you scored a goal, or you’ve acted in an Oscar winning… so everyone kind of has a real idea as to who you are…
;There’s a level of mysticism that isn’t there and I really quite like that because, for the most part, people like you or they don’t like you, they sort know you know, a version of you.’
