Kanye West appears to have already broken Twitter rules not long after returning, as the social media platform has removed a tweet deemed to have been a ‘violation’.

The Grammy-winning rapper has caused a stir on social media in recent days, sparked after he wore a White Lives Matter shirt at his latest Yeezy fashion show.

In the days since, Kanye, 45, has proceeded to double down on his stance against Black Lives Matter while also calling out his critics including Gigi Hadid and Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and even leaking heated text message exchanges he’s had with friends such as hip hop mogul Diddy.

Instagram moved to restrict Kanye’s account amid reports he shared an anti-Jewish post, and it appears Twitter has also pulled a similar move.

On Saturday night, the rapper is alleged to have tweeted: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.

‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’

However, that tweet is no longer available on his page and instead, a message from Twitter reads: ‘This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.’

It comes just hours after Kanye’s friend and billionaire Elon Musk welcomed him back to Twitter after two years of inactivity.

‘Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!’ Elon wrote.

Earlier this year, the Tesla boss expressed interest in buying Twitter and had already started the process before backtracking.

Upon his return to Twitter, Kanye called out Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg after Instagram restricted his content.

‘Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off instagram. You used to be my n***a,’ he wrote.

Meta, which owns Instagram, confirmed to Metro.co.uk they had ‘deleted content from @kanyewest for violating our policies and placed a restriction on the account.’

However, the spokesperson did not specify which posts had been removed from West’s feed or what the restriction entails.

It followed reports that Kanye, who now goes by the name Ye, suggested Diddy was being controlled by Jews.
