When meeting a popular Twitch streamer you might think of asking for a photo or video, but Amouranth’s fans are a different breed.
Amouranth’s fans show their dedication like no other, not only religiously buying her jars of farts and bath water but even offering to gift her thousands of dollars – despite the fact that she’s already a multi-millionaire. Although that doesn’t compare to meeting your idol in person, and maybe even getting a signature or hug.
TwitchCon, Twitch’s yearly convention, finally returned last weekend after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, and it was certainly one to remember.
From Meghan Thee Stallion twerking on Halo’s Master Chief to Dr Disrespect fans dressing up as him to troll the organisers, this year’s event scored high on the unhinged scale. One streamer even broke their back in two places after jumping in TwitchCon’s notorious foam pit.
Now Amouranth has become the latest streamer to walk away from TwitchCon with a story to tell, as one of her fans made an interesting request during her meet-and-greet session.
If you’re thinking about a hug or even a kiss on the cheek, think twice, as this is Amouranth we’re talking about. Though if you guessed that the fan asked her to step on them… you’re spot on.
Amouranth was quick to oblige and even clapped in excitement, before placing her white sneakers on the fan’s nether regions. YouTuber Birdman also happened to be nearby one of the encounters, chanting ‘step, step, step!’.
More fans followed with the same request and Amouranth obliged every time, not wanting to disappoint anyone who had been waiting for a long time to see her. Although how clean her shoes were at the time isn’t clear.
Twitch streamer Kilobyte Keith even poked fun at the situation and in turn snapped a similar photo with Amouranth. He said he felt ‘honoured’ to have Amouranth step on him when he shared the photo on Twitter.
The response to Amouranth’s fans getting stepped on has been mixed so far, with some Twitter users claiming it’s cringe and embarassing and others either finding it funny or wishing it was them instead.
One person commented that they’re feeling ‘sick’ after watching the videos, though another quickly fired back saying that they’re also feeling sick… but it’s because someone else is ‘living their dream’.

As this is a safe place, there’s no judgement for any of you that wish you got stepped on by Amouranth – after all she is the queen of Twitch.
If you missed TwitchCon this year, you might get another chance to meet her, as she’s organising a Mr and Ms Universe pageant with a twist, alongside YouTuber Alpharad.
So don’t be disappointed you haven’t been stepped on by Amouranth just yet.
