Elon Musk has revealed that he spoke to Kanye West over his recent comments about the Jewish community.

The Praise God rapper was banned from Instagram and Twitter over the weekend after he was found to be violating rules on social media.

After being restricted on Instagram for publishing a post described as anti-semitic, the 45-year-old moved over to Twitter, where he was alleged to have tweeted: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.

‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because Black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’

The platform later removed his message, with a notice now reading: ‘This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.’

Tesla founder Elon, who welcomed Ye back to Twitter on Saturday, has now spoken out over his recent comments.

Replying to his own tweet, in which he initially celebrated the Grammy-winner’s return, he added: ‘Talked to ye today & expressed my concerns about his recent tweet, which I think he took to heart.’

However, the billionaire businessman stopped short of expanding on other details of their conversation.

Elon is currently in the process of purchasing the platform but the protracted takeover hit another speed bump last week concerning a previous legal dispute.

Following Kanye’s now-removed posts, a string of stars have spoken out against the musician, with Piers Morgan defending the decision for his accounts to be locked.

Jamie Lee Curtis reflected on her emotional response to his posts, while appearing on the Today show on Monday.

‘I woke up and burst into tears,’ she said. ‘“DEFCON 3 on Jewish people?” What are you doing?

‘I mean, it’s bad enough that fascism is on the rise around the world. But on Twitter, on a portal, to pour that in? As if Jewish people haven’t had it hard enough?

‘It’s just abhorrent. It’s abhorrent behavior. I hope he gets help. I hope his children get help from him. It’s terrible.’

The Holocaust Museum has since extended an invite to Kanye in an open letter, urging him to understand the danger behind his words.

‘Words matter and words have consequences Ye. We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides,’ the LA-based organization said.

‘The Holocaust started with only words that sadly begat stereotypes, racial and religious tropes and blaming others and led to the murder of six million Jews.

‘At Holocaust Museum LA it is our mission to commemorate those who were murdered, educate on the Holocaust and all genocides including the genocide perpetrated against the Armenian People (of which your children would be included), and inspire a more dignified and humane world.

‘Your words reach millions and you can choose to incite or you can choose to inspire.’
