Apex Legends is only a few weeks away from entering Season 15 and you have the chance to get a sneak preview of its new map if you can find the golden ticket.

Things have been a bit quiet on the Apex Legends front since the Beast Of Prey collection event concluded, even though the game got a Halloween makeover.

As part of the preparations for spooky season, and the Season 14 ending, Fight or Fright has also made a comeback in the last few weeks. Truth be told, after a few games, this mode gets old quickly, even if it’s fun to come back as a shadow and haunt the enemy squads.

In a bid to wake players up from their mid-season slumber, developer Respawn has made some discreet changes to the battle royale, but ones only the most loyal players will notice.

If you fall under this category, then you will have noticed that the crafting replicators, which are spread throughout the map, have now turned gold.

Crafting replicators are used to craft in-game items such as shield batteries and med kits, and since Season 14 kicked off you can also use them to get your hands on a small selection of weapons.

Now, another item has been added to the replicator, called the Golden Ticket – and no, sadly it’s not a collab with Willy Wonka from Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

At the moment, the Golden Ticket doesn’t serve any purpose, though you might want to make sure to get one for later in the season.

That’s because it’s likely that with future game updates, the Golden Ticket will unlock a teaser to the game’s new map, which is said to be the moon of Seer’s home planet Boreas

The descriptive text of the Golden Ticket seems to confirm as much, as it reads ‘a ticket to see the future home of the Apex Games.’

Currently, a lot of leakers seem to think that the next stage of this teaser is going live in one week’s time, on Wednesday, October 19.

So, here are the exact steps you need to follow to get a Golden Ticket in Apex Legends:

1. Get in a game in battle royale mode.

2. Find a Replicator on the map with the help of the gold icons on the map.

3. Collect a total of 125 crafting materials.

4. Head back to the Replicator and craft yourself a Golden Ticket.

5. Don’t forget to pick up your reward: Legendary-tier, fully kitted weapon.

A New Home unlocks on October 19th.

Once you’ve collected the ticket from the crafter, and you return to the lobby after your game ends, you should be able to see a new option in the game modes tab.

In the top right corner, next to the podium icon, there should be another option that reads ‘A New Home’ – though as we said, it’s currently locked.

For the time being, you can focus on levelling up and stacking up your Apex packs in the hopes of finally unlocking Loba’s new and deadly heirloom called Garra de Alanza (Alanza’s Claw).

Apex Legends’ Season 15 will launch on Tuesday, November 1, as each season usually lasts about three months and the current one started in August.

The Fight or Fight mode will also end on the same date, but don’t be surprised if the Winter Express returns to World’s Edge with another one of Mirage’s Holo-Day Bash collection events.
