Holly Willoughby, Kate Garraway, and Alison Hammond are among those to have got their glam on for the National Television Awards 2022.

The biggest and brightest names in British TV have descended on London to celebrate the year in telly, with plenty of awards to dish out.

This Morning star Holly waved at the cameras as she walked the red carpet in a gorgeous black gown ahead of the ceremony, which was postponed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

She and co-star Phil aren’t nominated this year, but they’re bound to be supporting their pal Alison, who is nominated for best presenter for the first time.

Alison strutted her stuff on the red carpet with co-presenter Dermot O’Leary, with the pair larking about as they arrived at the event.

While Dermot suited up, Alison sparkled in a glitzy black and red number, wearing her hair up in a high ponytail.

The presenter is in a very competitive category, with Ant and Dec, who had to pull out of attending the awards due to falling ill with Covid-19, winning best presenter consecutively for the past 20 years.

Also rocking all black for the awards this year were stars including Dame Arlene Phillips and Rochelle Humes, who both stunned on the red carpet.

Kate Garraway, who is nominated for in the authored documentary category, which she won last year for her documentary about her husband Derek Draper and his battle with Covid, beamed as she walked the red carpet with her daughter Darcey.

The broadcaster looked stunning in a silver number, while Darcey rocked a gorgeous red dress, as she placed an arm around her mum.

Maya Jama was also seen arriving in a beautiful white dress, just a day after she was confirmed as the newest Love Island presenter, taking over from Laura Whitmore.

Also attending the glitzy awards were stars like Anneka Rice, Stephen Mangan, and Taskmaster’s Alex Horne.

Hosting the NTAs for a second time is comedian Joel Dommett, who took over the reins from previous presenter David Walliams last year.

Unlike other awards, the NTA is voted by the general public, rather than industry bigwigs, making the winners undoubtedly feel celebrated by viewers at home.

Battling it out in the new drama’ category is BBC medical drama This Is Going To Hurt, Time, LGBTQ+ romance series Heartstopper and the Vicky McClure-starring Triggerpoint.

Elsewhere Kate Garraway, Katie Price, Paddy and Christine McGuiness, who recently broke up, Tom Parker and Julia Bradbury are all up for the best authored documentary.

Ant and Dec are once again up for the TV presenter award, and who knows if another host might break their winning streak, after receiving the gong 20 years in a row.

The Geordie pair’s rivals for the award are This Morning’s Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh and Graham Norton.

More to come.
