I’m plus-size with 44D boobs & tried Kim Kardashian’s Skims bras – they showed through my top & didn’t lift my girls up
A CONTENT creator tried on six Skims bras to test if they were “fat girl approved.”
Alexandra Rodriguez is plus-size and did a Skims try-on haul. While she liked some, most showed through her tops and didn’t smooth her back fat. Others didn’t offer enough lift.

“After I pulled these out, some of my hopes were high and some were like oh damn no,” she said in her YouTube video.
Alexandra typically wears sizes 16, 18 or 1X in clothing and 42D or 44D in bras. She said she typically has to size up for Skims shirts and products.
First, she tried on the Fits Everybody T-shirt Bra in Clay in a size 44D. Overall, she was happy with the sizing, fabric, and support.
But she pointed out: “I have back fat so I typically will buy bras that have nice thick banding in the back, but none of these really do.”

SQUEEZE PAST
I’m plus-sized & bought Kim Kardashian’s Skims in XL – it was SO tiny
NOT HAUL THAT
I’m a size 3X and I spent $120 on Skims but none of the clothes fit
She threw on a white shirt to see how the bra appeared underneath. “Not super back fat-smoothing but not digging in the way that I was afraid of,” she said.
Next, Alexandra tried the Cotton Logo Underwire Demi Bra in Marble, also in 44D.
She liked the fit and support, but added again that the particularly thin band wasn’t the most flattering for her back.
And when she put her shirt on, you could completely see the bra’s outline and white color through it.

“A bra like this just feels like it’s cute for sexy time,” she said, rather than for everyday wear.
Then Alexandra tried the Fits Everybody Scoop Neck Bra in Umber in a 3X.

“This is a 3X and I’m telling you this feels like a large or extra large,” she said of the bralette-type style.
“The band underneath is digging in,” she said, adding: “If you get this, you’re gonna need to size up three sizes.”
The negative review continued when she put on her shirt. The flat surface without molded cups gave an unflattering appearance, which Alexandra called “tube boob.” She said she would return it.

Putting on the Naked Plunge Tank Bra in Sand in a 3X, she said: “Oh I had such high hopes for this! And it’s just – Ughhh!”
The tank top-style bra fit poorly in nearly every way. The non-adjustable straps and waistband both kept rolling up.
When she tried to readjust the bra, Alexandra explained: “But I can’t pull it lower because the straps are too short and they’re digging into me.”

She said that she realized that while Skims bras with clasps and adjustable straps run true-to-size, the bandeau and tank styles run “hella freakin small,” like the shirts.
Then Alexandra tried on the Weightless Demi Bra in Onyx in 44D.
“First and foremost, we do have some spillage,” she pointed out, showing off the bra cutting into her armpit fat rather than concealing it.
She also showed that the non-stretchy style caused “back spillage,” saying: “It’s not necessarily about how the back fat looks, but it’s also uncomfortable.”

Lastly, Alexandra tried the No-Show Molded Unlined Balconette Bra in Coco in 44D. It had a sheer illusion fabric on the cubs and wide-set straps that wouldn’t show under wide shirt necklines.
She loved the style and that the wider band had four clasps, but the issue came when she wore it under a shirt.
Turning to the side, she showed how this style gave no support. “The boobs don’t look the cutest. They’re not lifted and gifted!” she explained, sounding disappointed.
Alexandra came to her final verdict on the haul, saying: “I would give this a B+ for the plus-size ladies,” revealing that she would return some styles.
