Warning: spoilers ahead for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 4 episode 4.

This week on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, the remaining season 4 queens were challenged to show off their improv skills in front of talk show icon himself, Alan Carr.

They then showcased extravagant hair-inspired looks for ‘The Mane Event’ runway, where guest star and national treasure Alison Hammond joined the judging panel.

In the end, Sminty Drop and Baby wound up in the bottom two, when the judges assessed their performances in the challenge and their runway looks combined.

Unfortunately for Sminty, after performing the lip sync to Respectable by Mel and Kim, it was her time to sashay away, with head judge RuPaul telling her: ‘Sminty Drop, you are fabulous. Now, Sashay Away.’

Following her exit, the 23-year-old from Lancashire admitted this ‘did not match up to my fantasy’, but she ‘left looking good’. She sure did!

‘I’m honestly just happy I met a bunch of sisters I can call family. They’re literally the best bunch of people I’ve ever met,’ she continued.

In the message she left for her fellow queens on the mirror in the Werk Room, Sminty said: ‘The Manchester Mannequin started panicking, but this is NOT the last runway you’ll see me on. Sminty.’

Sminty has high hopes for the future, and has set her sights on conquering the fashion world.

‘Expect to see me on magazine covers. You will see me on the runways. I’ve got plenty more looks to show, this is not the end of Sminty Drop!’ she promised.

‘I can’t wait to keep representing the House of Kendoll and hopefully, keep making Manchester proud. I can’t wait for what the future holds.’

The performer also shared some very useful advice for any budding drag queens on staying frugal while putting together awe-inspiring looks.

‘Don’t break the bank. You can make your drag look amazing on a budget! When I started doing drag, I went to charity shops all the time,’ she shared.

‘Also, practise, practise, practise. Practise doing your make-up and hair at home so you feel comfortable before heading out in drag!’

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns next Thursday at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
