Jimmy Carr made a savage quip at co-star Amanda Holden’s expense on BBC show I Can See Your Voice on Saturday night.
The comic, who is known for his brutal jokes, was firing on all cylinders during Saturday’s episode of the show, hosted by Paddy McGuinness, during which a panel of celebrities along with a guest singer have to suss out whether somebody is a good or bad singer, solely based on their looks and before they’ve opened their mouth.
Jimmy was joined by Amanda as well as Alison Hammond and guest panellist Tony Hadley as they began to pick through the night’s first batch of mystery singers and discuss their theories.
One contestant was dressed as a hospital doctor in blue scrubs, a white lab coat and wearing a stethoscope around her neck, offering Jimmy a chance he couldn’t resist to poke fun at Amanda.
In a playful tribute to hit TLC song, mystery singer No Scrubs helped Jimmy mislead the audience as he pretended to pay tribute to the NHS before coming in with his brutal joke.
The comedian commented: ‘You know, No Scrubs. Would it be appropriate to take a moment to thank the doctors and nurses that have worked tirelessly over the last couple of years?’

As the studio audience cheered and applauded, he then pointed to the Britain’s Got Talent judge and added: ‘On Amanda’s new face…’, suggesting the star had had cosmetic work done on her face.
Luckily, Amanda saw the funny side, cackling along as Paddy broke out into shocked laughter and the audience reacted with audible shock.
Jimmy feigned innocence as he flicked over a page in his notebook, asking: ‘What?’, like he hadn’t just delivered a savage burn.

However, Alison was having none of it, chastising the controversial joker with a pointed ‘Jimmy!’.
Amanda has previously explained that she suffers from keloid skin, a condition that means when you heal from a skin injury, you’re left with a thick raised scar often bigger than the original wound.
She told You Magazine in 2021 that it made surgery ‘not such a great proposition’, although she wouldn’t rule it out.

The presenter and singer has, however, been a fan of Botox in the past, before giving it up after the difficult birth of her daughter Hollie in January 2012.

She now enjoys Collagen Wave facials, which is sold as a non-invasive alternative to Botox and fillers.
On an Instagram post in 2020, she gushed about the treatment giving her an ‘incredible lift’ as well as being a fan of skin-tightening and micro-needling method Morpheus8.
I Can See Your Voice continues at 9:10pm on Saturday on BBC One.
