All fans have different ways of expressing their love for their favourite stars, but it seems one Harry Styles fan got a bit too excited – and ended up hitting him where it hurts!
The former One Direction member, 28, is currently in the States continuing his world tour following the success of his third solo album, Harry’s House.
Naturally, the As It Was hitmaker has received an outpouring of love in every venue around the world, with thousands of adoring fans filling out arenas and stadiums to spend the night with him.
However, it seems one fan’s love language is physically hurling objects at the artist while he’s on stage, causing him to double over in pain.
An unidentified object (some say it was a cuddly toy, others say a bottle) was lobbed at the Grammy winner by an over-enthusiastic fan during his show in Chicago.
The heart-throb singer sighed, ‘Oh!,’ and crouched over as he grabbed his groin, as seen in an incident captured by another fan named Gabriela Rose.

Wearing a vibrant purple and orange suit, a grimacing Harry bent over and took a few seconds to compose himself, before ruefully declaring: ‘Well, that’s unfortunate.’
After checking himself to make sure everything was ok, he gave both his legs and shake and carried on with the show, saying: ‘Ok, shake it off!’
Harry was being his usual comedic, charming self and talking to fans between songs when the object was hurled towards him, although videographic proof over the years shows this was far from the first time he’s been hit in the private parts while performing.

The Watermelon Sugar singer returned to the stage recently to complete his six-date residency at the United Centre in Chicago, after being forced to cancel his first date due to illness in his touring camp.
Cancellation of the show was announced by the venue ‘out of an abundance of caution,’ and reschedule to Monday, October 10.

It comes as no surprise that Harry is selling out multiple dates in iconic venues in the US (did someone say 15 dates at Madison Square Garden?), as his single As It was recently became the longest-running number one by a British artist in the US singles chart after spending 15 weeks at the top spot.
Following his Chicago residency, he now moves on to Inglewood, California where he’ll perform another 15 shows at the Kia Forum into November.

And music isn’t the only thing keeping Harry busy, as the former X Factor star has another movie hitting cinemas soon.
Following the release of Olivia Wilde-directed thriller Don’t Worry Darling, Harry’s next project, LGBTQ+ drama My Policeman, will be released in cinemas from October 21 and will be available to stream on Amazon Prime from November 4.

Directed by Michael Grandage and starring Emma Corrin and David Dawson, Harry plays Tom Burgess in the flick, a gay policeman who enters into a relationship with museum curator Patrick Hazlewood while being married to schoolteacher Marion Taylor.
My Policeman switches between time periods, showing the younger Tom in the 1950s and the older Tom in the 1990s, and how the trio’s life evolved over the resulting four decades.
