Two days after she revealed she’s not single, Amouranth has returned to Twitch to assure friends and fans that she’s safe.

Over the weekend, Amouranth made some shocking revelations about her personal life while live on Twitch, including that she’s married and that her relationship has become toxic.

The Twitch star also claimed that it was her husband’s idea to hide the marriage from fans so that her hot tub streams appealed to more fans. While streaming, Amouranth also had an intense phone call with her partner and later showed fans a few text messages to support her claims.

After her stream ended, Amouranth took time off social media to deal with the situation and only posted a few updates saying that the police had been to her house. In fact, fellow streamer Alinity was the one who called the police to perform a welfare check on her, but they couldn’t tell her what was going on.

While fans and friends tried to check in on her, it wasn’t until a few days later that her content team provided an update on the situation, saying that she was ‘fine’ and that she spent all day talking to her husband to ‘sort things out.’

To give a personal update on the ongoing situation, Amouranth went live on stream on October 18 and said that she’s ‘seeking legal and emotional counsel,’ while her husband is ‘seeking help.’

She also revealed that part of the reason she couldn’t go live on Twitch was that she didn’t have access to her accounts, apart from having to deal with ‘random visitors and cop calls.’

Amouranth also went on to say that she’s positive about the future and that she’s ‘happy’ that she’s ‘free,’ meaning that she and her husband could have found a way to move forward.

As for the future of her channel, she joked that she’s looking forward to ‘wearing clothes’ on stream from now on.

‘I don’t know what I’m going to do next. Hopefully, a lot more animal streams. It’s going to take time to process. I don’t know when or if I’ll be back to a full-time schedule. At least for now, I think I’m going to take it easy,’ Amouranth said.

The rest of the Twitch community was quick to both check on Amouranth and speak up in support of her on social media.

Fellow female streamers Valkyrae and CodeMiko also went on to talk about how victims of toxic relationships are often dismissed or dehumanised by the online community.
