Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has taken a swipe back at the cruel trolls calling her ‘mutton dressed as lamb’.
The head judge on the BBC show, who sits beside Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke, has previously addressed the trolls who have sent her abusive messages online.
But over the weekend she’d clearly had enough, and responded to some of the messages calling her names including ‘fake’ on social media.
Instead of taking a swipe and swooping as low as the trolls however, Shirley’s appeared to adopt the kill them with kindness approach.
One person cruelly wrote: ‘She is such a false, and fake person. Mutton dressed as lamb, thinks she is the best thing since sliced bread.’

The 62-year-old responded: ‘Sorry you feel like this. Love that expression mutton dressed as lamb very northern. Anyway have lovely Sunday you made me smile.’
Someone else questioned Shirley’s judging skills, asking why she gave Matt Goss a low score and saying that she ‘shouldn’t be on the show anymore’.
Shirley simply replied: ‘Sorry you feel that way. Have a lovely Sunday,’ before elsewhere hilariously replying to someone who said that they wanted her to be replaced.

After Shirley shared a montage of her glamorous Strictly looks, one troll wrote: ‘I’d vote to have you replaced.’
But Shirley hit back with: ‘Ok. But enjoy the show and have a wonderful week.’
To someone else commenting on her ‘lovely false laugh, hairdo last week nice, sorry but not so good last night,’ Shirley sarcastically penned: ‘Thanks Nigel. Have a great day.’

This comes after Shirley opened up about having received ‘many apologies’ from trolls who sent her abusive messages after the second week of Strictly, which saw Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice eliminated.
While Craig, Motsi and Anton had voted to send Richie and Giovanni home, Shirley admitted she would have sent home Fleur East and Vito Coppola, the other pairing in the dreaded dance off.
‘Well, with the two couples the public put in the bottom two, I would have saved Richie and Giovanni,’ Shirley said at the time.

As a result, the Wallasey-born TV star was ordered by Twitter users to ‘quit’ the show, as they failed to understand her views, especially as Fleur scored 29 points for her American smooth to Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid, while Richie scored 27 for his samba to Hakuna Matata from Disney’s The Lion King.
Sharing some of the backlash after the show aired, Shirley had posted screenshots with the caption: ‘Here we go again how sad’.
But she later tweeted that all had been forgiven, writing: ‘I have received many apologies over the weekend regarding hurtful messages I’ve received on social media.’

‘All apologies are accepted and from now on let’s all respect each other and enjoy the show. Love to you all.’
Fans flocked to support the TV judge, saying she ‘doesn’t deserve’ to receive hate and praising her ‘grace and elegance’ in responding to trolls.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
