After a momentous return this year following the coronavirus pandemic, music lovers are already gearing up for Glastonbury Festival 2023.

The event will take place from June 21 to 25 at Worthy Farm, with tickets set to go on sale from early November – though they’ll set you back a whopping £340.

This year’s festival saw performances from an array of all-star acts, including headline slots from Billie Eilish and Sir Paul McCartney– with Diana Ross and Kendrick Lamar closing the show.

Naturally, festival goers are already trying to deduce who will be performing at next year’s event with rumours flying around who could nab the coveted headline spots.

Sports betting community OLGB has released their odds on who could form the line-up of next year’s iconic festival.

Elton John

Elton John has odds of 13/8 to grace the Pyramid Stage as a headliner at Glastonbury.

It would be his first-ever appearance at the famous music and arts festival.

Fans began to speculate the music icon would be appearing at the event after spotting a Glasto-shaped hole in his ongoing world tour.

During his Farewell Yellow Brick Road, which has been postponed numerous times due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is a gap within his existing dates from Thursday, June 22, and Monday, June 26.

A previously scheduled date in Paris has also been rescheduled from Sunday, June 25, to Wednesday, June 21.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift, who was confirmed as a headliner for the cancelled 2020 edition, is 7/4 to jet to Somerset next summer.

She reportedly turned down appearing at this year’s festival as the ‘timing wasn’t right’.

A source told Capital FM: ‘Of course, she would absolutely love to headline at some point. It is still on her bucket list but performing isn’t her priority right now.

‘She has old albums which she is still working on re-recording and getting those finished is her priority.’

Harry Styles

TikTok users think they’ve sussed whether Harry Styles will play next year’s Glastonbury (Picture: PA)

Harry Styles, fresh off the back of a sell-out stadium tour, completes the top three favourites tipped to headline at Glastonbury at odds of 5/2.

Much like Elton, there are some small gaps in the One Direction star’s 2023 tour – specifically the Friday and Sunday of Glastonbury leading to speculation he will perform.

TikTok users went wild for this theory, with many convinced it means the Watermelon Sugar singer will appear in 2023.

Others, however, have been more sceptical, saying the singer may just need a break amid his busy schedule.

Guns N’ Roses

Legendary rockers Guns ‘N Roses have been tipped to be playing Glastonbury 2023 with odds of 3/1.

Earlier this month, guitarist Slash’s girlfriend Meegan Hodges posted a video to Instagram of the band performing a previously unreleased song, hinting at new music from the group.

Slash previously confirmed the group would be releasing new music this year while promoting his fourth solo album with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, so live performances could be on the horizon.

Dua Lipa

Singer/songwriter Dua Lipa comes in at 6/1 to hit the stage at Worthy Farm next year.

The New Rules hitmaker does not have any live dates planned around the time of the festival, with her last upcoming gig set to take place on November 16 this year at Perth’s RAC Arena.

One person who would be thrilled with her performance is Jeremy Clarkson, who recently admitted he is ‘obsessed’ with the pop star.

The 1975

The 1975 are in joint fifth place as favourites to headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2023 at 9/1.

The group dazzled fans at this year’s Reading and Leeds after stepping in for Rage Against The Machine who were forced to cancel their headline slot.

Vocalist Matt Healy recently revealed Ed Sheeran offered The 1975 an ‘insane’ amount of money to support him on tour but the group turned it down.

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen joins The 1975 in the top five spot to form part of the Glastonbury 2023 line-up.

The Born In The USA hitmaker surprised revellers at this year’s event when he performed onstage with Paul McCartney during his headline slot alongside Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl.

It could be another chance for Springsteen fans to see the artist after he announced his return to the UK with a string of dates in Edinburgh, Birmingham, and London.
