The Late Late Show’s James Corden might currently be under the spotlight for his treatment of restaurant workers, but Conan O’Brien is said to have sacked one of his crew members for bring ‘rude’ to a waiter.
The claims were made by former Conan show writer Todd Levin, who said that the American comedian and TV host once reprimanded one of his employees for bad manners.
‘At CONAN there was a crew member who was fired because Conan witnessed him being impatient and rude to a server at a restaurant,’ Levin tweeted.
‘Just remembering that now, for no particular reason.’
The sharing of his anecdote was no doubt sparked by the furore currently surrounding Corden, who has been called out for treating staff at a restaurant in New York badly.
While O’Brien has not responded to the claims of him stepping in to curb unpleasant behaviour, the tweet was enough for people to further take aim at Corden’s antics.
Over the past few days it has emerged that The Late Late Show host had allegedly been abusive towards servers at Balthazar restaurant, with owner Keith McNally taking to social media to slam the star and ban him from the venue.

In his original post, McNally referred to Corden as a ‘tiny Cretin of a man’, who had demanded two free rounds of drinks after a mix-up with an order.
While he later went on to reveal that he had received a call from Corden who had apologised, and that ‘all was forgiven’, the drama doesn’t seem to be dying down.
Jumping on board the bandwagon, Ryanair has taken matters into their own hands banned Corden from flying with them.
Posting a photo of Corden on a plane with a big red cross over his face, the tweet has now amassed more than 235,000 likes.
