You might not have to contend with dragons like a Targaryen, or even possess a dizzying wardrobe a la Emily in Paris (like those two things are comparable) to rock the jewellery worn in two of the biggest TV franchises.

Ottoman Hands is the name on our lips (or rather, our ears), and is a handmade and sustainable jewellery brand regularly seen on shows such as HBO’s epic House of the Dragon, and Netflix’s Emily in Paris.

This brand has been worn by some major celebs – we’re talking Ellie Goulding, and icon Gillian Anderson in Sex Education (she rocked the Star Charm Hoop Earrings).

Lashana Lynch also wore a piece as Nomi in No Time To Die, which is hardly anything to sneeze at, while Tavi Geninson was also seen in a pair of the brand’s earrings in Gossip Girl, so the street cred is real here.

What began on London’s iconic Portobello Road has now evolved into a multi-channel, successful global brand.

And to really bring in some House Of The Dragon, Emily In Paris and Nomi vibes, Ottoman Hands is a female-owned independent business, founded by designer Deniz Gurdal in London in 2010.

Known for its signature evil eye collection, the brand – who, in the past, has partnered up with charities such as Trillion Trees, Work for Good, Royal Trinity Hospice – believes in forever jewellery, creating timeless designs, beyond ephemeral trends, that can be worn season after (TV) season.

Also doing a number for the planet, the pieces are constructed with recycled metals by skilled artisans in the heart of the jewellery quarter of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and are inspired by antique or vintage jewellery.

The jewels and chains merge eastern and western heritage, inspired by the traditions of the Ottoman Empire, and made from 21 ct gold plated brass and alluring semi-precious stones.
