Loose Women’s Linda Robson has addressed any rumours about a feud with This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, after she was spotted looking less than impressed when they scored their National Television Awards win.

Both ITV daytime shows had been in the running for the same award, nominated in the Daytime category alongside The Chase and The Repair Shop.

But, the gong went to Holly and Phil – despite intense backlash the pair have faced over recent weeks amid accusations they ‘skipped’ the queue to see the Queen’s coffin lying in state.

The duo and ITV have strenuously denied the allegations, however, boos were still heard in the audience when Holly and Phil went to collect their award.

Meanwhile, the camera panned onto the other nominees, including Linda who was sat beside her Loose Women co-stars, and clearly not clapping.

However, she’s now addressed any rumours about a feud after she was seen looking pretty stony-faced after Loose Women missed out on the win.

Setting the record straight, Linda said: ‘There is no issue between me, Holly and Phil.

‘We just showed that we were disappointed that we lost, and we are allowed to be disappointed.’

She continued to The Sun: ‘It wasn’t that we didn’t clap, we were just going “oh no, not again, we haven’t won this year”.

‘It wasn’t deliberately not clapping them; we were just sad for us.’

Accepting their award last Thursday, Phil, stood alongside the This Morning team including Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, said: ‘Please don’t think we ever get complacent and please don’t think we ever take this for granted.

‘This means so much to us every year, especially this year. We have the most amazing team, I have the best friend, we have the best boss.’

Holly also spoke as the team accepted the award, saying This Morning had a ‘special relationship’ with its audience.

She added: ‘You make our show for us, you really do.’

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am, followed by Loose Women from 12.30pm.
