BlackPink are set to become the first K-pop act to headline BST Hyde Park as the festival returns for 2023.
American Express presents BST Hyde Park will return to London for 2023 and confirmed that K-pop megastars BlackPink will headline the festival on Sunday July 2.
Their appearance at next year’s show marks the first time a K-pop act will headline a major UK festival.
BlackPink will be joining Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel and Pink on the line up for BST Hyde Park 2023.
The band’s fans – known as Blinks – will have a few chances to see Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa in the UK in the next few months.
Tickets to their two upcoming shows at London’s O2 Arena sold out instantly after going on sale last month, and there’s no doubt there’ll be many UK Blinks clamouring for tickets to their first UK festival headliner next year too.

BlackPink have become one of the world’s biggest acts in their six-year career so far, becoming the most-subscribed act on YouTube with over 80million followers, and are the most-followed girl group on Spotify.
They’ve also released two studio albums and three EPs, as well as collaborations with stars including Lady Gaga, Cardi B and Selena Gomez.
BlackPink’s historic appearance at BST Hyde Park will cement them in history alongside other once-in-a-lifetime performances at the festival.
Last year’s BST Hyde Park saw Elton John perform as a part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, The Rolling Stones doing two incredible sell out nights with an emotional tribute to the late Charlie Watts.
Adele also performed two shows in her home town to sell-out crowds alongside an all-female line-up.
Tickets are available here, with American Express Cardmembers® having access to the first presale from 10am today (Friday, October 21). The BST presale starts at 10am Monday, October 24, with tickets on general sale at 10am, Thursday, October 27.
