And when Sophie Parry went to her local store, she found herself leaving with a pair of boots that she declared were “perfect” for winter.

Sophie took to TikTok to show off her buy, as she said: “I’ve been to Poundland yet again, why do I live in that shop?
“I only bought one thing. I could have bought loads, don’t get me wrong, but I am really trying to save at the minute so I need to be good but I couldn’t resist these.
“And I feel like they’re the perfect winter boots.”
She then held up the boots, which were black and ankle height with elasticated sides and a chunky sole.
