Logan Paul has turned to WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels as he prepares for his huge world championship match at Crown Jewel next month.

The YouTuber is making waves in the world of wrestling after his WrestleMania debut in April and a singles win over The Miz at SummerSlam, and now he’ll battle for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title in Saudi Arabia on November 5.

The company has shared a behind the scenes look at Logan and the Heartbreak Kid’s session, with the social media sensation locking up with WWE star and coach Drew Gulak in a training ring.

In pictures from the workout, Logan can be seen flying off the top rope with a moonsault – essentially a backflip onto your opponent – and it’s clear he’s looking to make a statement against the Tribal Chief.

Imparting some wisdom on the relatively rookie, Michaels – who works as WWE’s senior vice president of talent development creative – said: ‘Obviously, [Roman’s] very comfortable but clearly – he looks unbeatable but there’s a chance in Saudi you can shock the world, right?

‘Obviously he’s not thinking that he’s gonna take you seriously, and I would imagine that’s probably something you could use. Something to think about, alright? You go over there, you do that, you beat Roman and shock the world…’

Logan added: ‘I’ve been here before. Greatest of all time, OK, but still human. I’ve been blinded by ignorance before and that was it.’

While the former world champion joked the YouTuber and boxer isn’t ‘the sharpest knife in the drawer’, he suggested that could actually be a positive thing in the ring.

‘Sometimes, not being the sharpest knife in the drawer is an advantage. You’ve got nothing to lose, right? That’s what makes you so powerful,’ HBK explained. ‘He’s the one that’s got all the pressure. He’s expected to win, right? He chokes, he’s done.’

As well as Michaels, Logan has also been training with Shane ‘The Hurricane’ Helms, and the WWE legend previously admitted he has been won over by the way the outsider has adjusted to the world of pro wrestling.

‘I’m looking forward to this. I was surprised at the match, I will say that. I didn’t expect Logan and Roman, but then again, I think for the last year everything’s been a surprise,’ he said on WWE’s After The Bell podcast.

‘I mean, you watch WrestleMania. If you still didn’t believe it, watch SummerSlam. Logan Paul is going to step up. This is going to be big and I actually love it. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but after all these years, I love it.’

WWE Crown Jewel airs November 5 at 4pm on the WWE Network.
