Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has reportedly cut ties with Kanye West following his string of scandals over recent weeks.
The rapper has been heavily criticised lately, first due to his appearance at Paris Fashion Week wearing a White Lives Matter t-shirt.
West, 45, went on to make anti-Semitic remarks on Instagram and has also been hit with a $250million (£221m) lawsuit over his comments regarding the incident that led to George Floyd’s death, while taking part on a podcast.
Vogue has a long-standing relationship with the Golddigger hitmaker, which began in 2009 when Wintour, 72, invited him to her annual Met Gala.
West has worked with the publication on several occasions since, including with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, featuring on the cover when they married in 2014.
But, according to a source close to Wintour, the global editorial director of Vogue has no interest in working with West again.

A Vogue insider told Page Six: ‘Anna has had enough.’
They added: ‘She has made it very clear inside Vogue that Kanye is no longer part of the inner circle.’
It’s not known what might have been the final nail in the coffin for their friendship, but just last month, Wintour was pictured wearing a pair of sunglasses from West’s brand, Yeezy.

She modelled the shades in press images to promote them, and at the start of October, she supposedly sent another close friend, Baz Luhrmann, to record the reconciliation between West and one of her editors, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.
West mocked Karefa-Johnson’s fashion sense after she criticised his White Lives Matter stunt, claiming Wintour would hate a pair of boots she was photographed wearing.

It isn’t just Vogue who seem to be cutting ties with the musician-turned-designer, as West has also been dropped by designer brand Balenciaga.
He’s worked closely with the fashion house over the years, again with ex Kardashian too but the parent company of the brand, Kering, confirmed they have decided to part ways.

Issuing a statement to WWD, they said: ‘Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.’
Once more, it is unclear what led to their decision.
Reps for Vogue and Anna Wintour have been contacted for comment.
