If you wanted a fly-on-the-wall perspective of Ed Sheeran’s life then don’t we have some great news for you – he’s filming a tell-all documentary.
Currently on his Mathematics tour, the star has revealed he’s got cameras following his every move on the road to give fans a glimpse into his life.
Ed, who is set to be on tour til 2026, explained that he’s trying to balance what to include and what should be left out of the ‘honest’ film.
He said, while talking about keeping things private in his life: ‘We are shooting a documentary at the minute around my life and there was a big conversation about what do we include.
‘As long as it’s honest and it links in with a theme of something that’s in a song – there is no point in putting something in if it’s detrimental to my life.’
He added during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club: ‘It’s a very fine line, that’s why I live where I live [in Suffolk] and I don’t live in Los Angeles. My life as a celebrity is switched on when it needs to be switched on… but when I go home I am a friend, a dad, a husband, a son.
‘You can’t bring celebrity baggage into a pub in Suffolk, you just have to be yourself.’

The musician is set to release the album Subtract next year and went on to explain that he is feeling more ‘creative’ than ever as he is no longer under pressure to make big hits.
The 31-year-old singer explained: ‘I am in the most creative part of my life.
‘The pressure of having every album having to be this gargantuan pop machine is off.
‘I feel I have had five of them now and now is the time to explore doing stuff and taking risks.’
Ed continued: ‘I am going to be on a stadium tour for years, so even if I put out an album and it bombs, I’m still playing to 90,000 people a night.
‘I don’t feel the pressure of it. We will finish in 2026.’

We may just yet see an insight into the star’s songwriting process as well as projects that come and go, after Ed recently revealed he’d already started writing his James Bond theme for No Time To Die when he was replaced by Billie Eilish.
Ed was in line to pen a song for the iconic spy film saga when Danny Boyle was attached to direct the most recent movie, however the filmmaker was later replaced by Cary Joki Fukunaga, and Billie was then brought on board to write and record her Grammy and Oscar-winning anthem No Time To Die.
Explaining that he felt it was almost a rite of passage for any UK-born singer to be keen on doing a Bond song, Ed gave insight into just how far along he’d been with his until it was canned.
‘You’ve got to eventually as an English singer want to do a Bond song,’ he stated.
‘I was within a f**king gnat’s pube of doing one, and they changed directors, and then they just changed scripts and that was it – all the meetings, it was all done. I had started writing it.’
However, the 31-year-old star is still more than happy to take a second go at writing one in the future as he admitted how much it meant to him.
He added on That Peter Crouch Podcast: ‘Yeah, of course. I’m not going to pretend it didn’t hurt not doing it. If they come back, I’ll be like, “Yeah, yeah, of course”.’
