Harry Styles has left fans in a frenzy with his new video for Music For A Sushi Restaurant, which was released on Thursday.
The singer, 28, transformed into a bearded squid-human hybrid for the music video, in which he attempts to avoid becoming a tasty portion of sushi on a plate.
Harry is seen laid out on a counter in the kitchen, his tattoos visible on his bare torso as his lower half is revealed to be made up of squid-like tentacles, after being carried in by a group of sushi chefs.
In the surreal clip, Harry does his best to avoid becoming lunch, even putting on a karaoke performance backed by a brass band made up of men with prawn heads. A totally normal Saturday night…
However, he doesn’t seem to be able to hold off his fate for long as he appears to reach a bit of a sticky end nonetheless.
Fans took to social media to share their joy and, frankly, confusion at the bizarre clip, joking: ‘if you watched Harry Styles’ music for a sushi restaurant music video you may be entitled to compensation.’

Others added: ‘literally 30 seconds in to the music for a sushi restaurant video… why tf is harry an octopus’ and ‘im sorry but there is no lyric in music for a sushi restaurant where harry needs to be doing all this’.
Fans added: ‘I’m never eating sushi again. (I don’t like it anyways)’ and ‘Harry Styles’ official video on YouTube for Music for a Sushi Restaurant is out now and it needs to come with a Trigger/Graphic Warning. It’s poetic and traumatizing at the same time.’
Music For A Sushi Restaurant is the third single from the One Direction star’s recent number one album Harry’s House.
As well as channelling his inner octopus for the video, Harry has also been flexing his acting chops in two films this year.
He took a lead role in both Don’t Worry Darling alongside Florence Pugh and the recently released My Policeman with Emma Corrin.
The album, Harry’s House, has also been nominated for a Mercury Prize after its hugely successful release.
