Kim Kardashian is well versed in breaking the internet but it turns out that Heidi Klum was the mastermind behind one of her most iconic moments.

Earlier this year, the Kardashians star famously gathered a selection of her favorite supermodels for her Skims brand, unveiling the ‘icons’ collection.

Sharing the stunning photoshoot on social media in April, the 42-year-old revealed that she was ‘inspired’ to pose alongside the professionals – also including Tyra Banks, Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio – to promote her Fits Everybody collection.

The America’s Next Top Model host was later forced to defend the businesswoman over claims that she Photoshopped the end results.

In the latest episode of the Kardashians, viewers were taken behind the scenes of the shoot as the mom-of-four initially shared her doubt over whether Tyra would even be available to take part due to her busy schedule.

‘Today we are shooting our icons shoot for Skims and everyone that I wanted made it, including Tyra,’ she told the camera.

‘Just seeing how far they’ve come and they’re all moms, and these entrepreneurs, and still stunning and so beautiful. They were legendary. They are legendary. And now I have the same girls modelling for my own brand? It’s just the most full circle, pinch me moment ever.’

Kim could be seen having a fan girl moment with Heidi and Tyra, telling the duo: ‘There’s no one more beautiful than you guys and the fact that you are doing this… Oh, my God, this is so crazy, thank you so much.’

‘What I love about your brand and Skims is it’s for every single body,’ the ANTM host replied. ‘I’m celebrating this body. This is who I am today.’

It was up to Heidi to convince the reality star to jump in front of the camera with them, questioning: ‘Why are you not doing it with us?

‘I think you should put some Skims on, Kim, and just rock it with us! There’s like 100 people here, they’re all your people, so it’s fine.’

Kim tried to back out at first, but it didn’t take her long to get changed into her Skims with the models.

‘I’m totally not your typical model,’ she added in a confessional. ‘But this is insane! I know these girls just know what they’re doing, and I don’t, so it’s just freaking me out. Never once did I think they were going to say, “Get in the campaign!”

I really wasn’t planning on it but I’m not going to turn it down. Not next to these women. Thank God I’ve laser hair removal-ed everything from my entire body so I don’t have to worry about, “Did I shave today?” or anything like that.

‘F**k it, I’m in the campaign.’

Tyra previously lifted the lid on how the stunning shoot came to life, in a candid chat with Vogue, revealing they had a ‘beautiful heart-to-heart’.

‘I’ve respected her business savvy for quite a while, after that call, my respect grew to an even greater level,’ she told the publication.

‘Kim dropped words of wisdom from her mom that echoed sage advice my mom has shared with me over the years. I hadn’t modeled lingerie and undergarments in so long, but I said yes after speaking with Kim and hearing her thoughtful, loving, and instinctive words!

‘Kim has made her mark in the shapewear industry and hearing her talk about what makes her brand different is inspiring. I lectured for three years at Stanford’s Business School, and the first thing I would tell my students is, “Different is better than better.” With Skims, Kim is embodying that fully. 

‘I feel this when I see the products in the world, when I wear the products, how I see them position and market the products. It’s all different. And that’s what makes Skims extra special.

‘I am so proud to collaborate with her and these Icons. Kim, thank you for that heart-to-heart call we had about this campaign. All I can say is, “You were right.”’

The Kardashians airs on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
