I got some workwear from Shein and none of it was appropriate for the office – even if you didn’t have curves like mine

SHE wanted some cute, affordable clothing for the office, so decided to have a look on Shein.

And despite the fact that Maddie purchased her order from the fast fashion website’s “workwear edit”, none of it was actually suitable to wear in a professional environment.

Maddie took to TikTok to try on the workwear she’d ordered from Shein, including this tweed minidressTiktok/@maddiemacho0o

This beige bodycon dress was also in Shein’s workwear editTiktok/@maddiemacho0o

This purple dress looked perfect from the front…Tiktok/@maddiemacho0o

But when she turned around, it was completely backlessTiktok/@maddiemacho0o

“Welcome to another episode of how unhinged is their workwear, and for today’s episode we are actually doing Shein,” Maddie began her TikTok video.

She started by stating that the items looked like they were going to be a hit – until she put them on.

Kicking off with a fitted tweed-effect dress, she said: “I think I just got this in a size too small.

“It’s cute but I think the split right in the middle where your hoo ha is, not work appropriate.

WINTER WARMERS
I’m a mum of 12 and did a huge winter Shein haul – their £10 PJs are so cosy

FASHION FAIL
Shein slammed by shoppers over their plus-size tights in bizarre photoshoot

“In this brand’s defence, I am a little thicker – I have a lot more assets than some women.

“But the split being all the way up here? Immediately no.”

Next up, she tried on a beige bodycon dress, which featured an incredibly low neckline and a slit up the side.

“As a reminder, I get these clothes directly from their workwear section – this is in their workwear edit,” she said, shaking her head incredulously.

“I will tell you, I’m going to keep this dress, but you can’t wear this to work.”

Concluding her try on, Maddie popped on a cute purple number, that looked chic and covered up enough from the front.

But when she turned round, the back was entirely open, and was held together only with a couple of ties.

“Yo, no boss babes of Shein. You cannot wear this to work!” she laughed.

“Shein cannot be serious with that 3rd dress lol,” one person commented on the video.

“I love it tho hahahahaa.”

“I absolutely love the dress! But idk what they were thinking!” Maddie replied.

“They cannot possibly believe those last 2 dresses are work appropriate but they are cute for a date,” another added.
