Phoebe Bridgers opens up on own abortion and believes anyone who needs one ‘should f**king have one’-Kim Novak-Entertainment – Metro

Phoebe Bridgers has shared her views on abortion rights after having a positive experience when she needed one herself.
The singer, 28, has been open about her own experiences after the right to abortions were threatened for women in states across the US.
She told Teen Vogue the advice she would give others who need to make the choice to end a pregnancy, explaining: ‘Don’t let anybody freak you out about an abortion.
‘Because unless you’re doing it in an unsafe way, there are resources for you if you’re trying to get one — and you should f**king have one for whatever reason.’
Phoebe added: ‘It’s super safe. Shout-out to Planned Parenthood. I was very held during it.’
She has been vocal about her support for access to safe abortions being a right for all women, adding: ‘I just think middle-class, upper-class white people are always gonna have access to health care and abortion, whether it’s through flying [to another state] or even access to f**king organisations.

‘It’s just so much harder for the people that it was already hard for, so I like the organisations that are making life easier for those people.’
Phoebe had spoken out about her choice to end a pregnancy in May, while the US Supreme Court discussed whether to overturn Roe V Wade, which protected the right to abortions, which was overturned in June.

She wrote at the time: ‘I had an abortion in October of last year while I was on tour. I went to planned parenthood where they gave me the abortion pill. It was easy.’
Phoebe added: ’Everyone deserves that kind of access,’ before sharing links for people to donate.
Fans had praised her for speaking so openly about her experiences in order to show others the importance of abortions being accessible to all who need them without having to face the stress and expense of travelling to different states in the US.
