Our vibrant capital of London is never short of entertaining, information and cultural events, and this week is no different.
There is a lot going on in the worlds of art, shopping, music, film and ballet.
With concerts from the likes of Kiefer Sutherland and DMA’s, to the New Black Vanguard exhibition of the work of 15 Black photographers and an exhibition of Jenna Rowe’s work, the culture is positively flowing.
There’s comedy from Helen Bauer and London’s Literary Festival is underway, with special talks on climate change and the enivronment from activists including Greta Thunberg.
And, dare we mention the C-word? If you’re one for getting ahead with your festive shopping, The Spirit Of Christmas Event has over 700 independent sellers.

Friday: New Black Vanguard
15 Black photographers present new perspectives on race, beauty, gender and power (Picture: Quil Lemons Exhibition)
This new exhibition of work by 15 international Black photographers, including Quil Lemons, Campbell Addy and Arielle Bobb-Willis, presenting new perspectives on the medium of photography and ideas of race, beauty, gender and power.

Saturday: From Here To Eternity
Tim Rice’s musical adaptation of the classic Hollywood film returns to London telling the tale of the romantic ups and downs of three US army soldiers in the lead up to the attack on Pearl Harbour.

Australian three-piece, who notched up a top 10 album in the UK with their last release, The Glow, treat fans to their indie-rock numbers including tunes from their forthcoming How Many Dreams? Support comes from Pacific Avenue.

World renowned for playing action man Jack Bauer on multiple series of hit TV show 24, Sutherland treats British fans to tunes from his latest album Bloor Street, along with other work from his back catalogue.

High profile environmental activists drops by the London Literature festival to have a chat with TV presenter Samire Ahmend and promote the Climate Book – In which a line up of scientists and others share their thoughts about climate change.
Monday: Spirit of Christmas
Halloween may not have even fully started, but Christmas is on the way. This event features 700 independent brands selling their wares in time for the festive season covering homeware, children’s gifts, decorations, jewellery and more, plus 100 artisanal food and drink producers.

Tuesday: Helen Bauer
Comedian, as seen on Live At The Apollo, presents her latest show, Madam Good Tit, in which Helen ‘is trying to be the change she wants you to see’.

Wednesday: Birmingham Royal Ballet
The company returns to Sadler’s Wells, presenting a triple bill of dance, including the world premiere of choreographer Morgann Runacre-Temple’s Hotel, a surreal journey into secret goings on behind closed doors.

Thursday: Jemma Rowe Exhibition
Don’t miss this show of Jemma Rowe’s paintings that depict architectural spaces that look as if they’re being built right in front of your eyes.
