Sami Zayn made fellow WWE superstars Roman Reigns and Jey Uso break character on SmackDown.

The Honorary Uce was caught in the middle of a fascinating and intriguing row between The Bloodline on Friday night, but one moment in particularly had fans – and the stars in the ring – bursting out laughing.

In the opening match of the night, Zayn teamed up with Solo Sikoa in a losing effort to Brawling Brutes duo Ridge Holland and Butch, with Jey getting involved at ringside as the drama took centre stage.

Reigns came down after the bell to confront the pair, with Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo also in the ring as the family feud took another twist.

Jey snapped and at one point insisted he doesn’t care what the Tribal Chief said, he doesn’t consider Sami family and he’s not part of the Bloodline.

This angered the Head of the Table and Sami was quick to interject, attempting to cool things down while also insisting Jey wasn’t being very ‘Ucey’, which left Jey and Roman struggling to hide their laughter.

An ‘Ucey’ chant meant they hit the point of no return, with Roman clearly laughing as his cousin had to first turn away from the camera and then hide his face in his hands to try and stay on track.

They composed themselves, and the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion warned Jey that if the doesn’t get himself in line, the Honorary Uce might be renamed Sami Uso.

The respective reactions to this ultimatum were incredible, and the Bloodline storyline continues to be one of the most fascinating things in wrestling today.

Meanwhile, Sami himself looked amused by the way Jey and Roman broke on screen, but he has admitted he doesn’t want that to become a regular occurrence, even when his hilarious antics were to blame.

He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘‘Everything in moderation right? You don’t want it to be every week to where it just doesn’t look like people are taking it seriously, or it breaks characters and takes you out of it.’

WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
