The White Lotus is finally back for a sun-drenched season two, with a mostly-new cast taking in the stunning surroundings of Sicily.

The first series took place at the White Lotus resort in Hawaii, with Jennifer Coolidge stealing the show at Tanya McQuoid.

Thankfully, she has reprised her role for the second batch of episodes – which is premiering on HBO this evening in the US before airing on Sky Atlantic and NOW on Monday in the UK.

She has been joined by on-screen partner Greg (Jon Gries), who viewers briefly met in season one, but the rest of the gang are totally new.

Who is in the cast for White Lotus season two?

Jennifer’s character, Tanya, is heading for a second stay at a White Lotus resort, having loved her previous visit so much.

Tom Hollander also got in on the action at the White Lotus (Picture: HBO)

Aside from all the death, tears and gloom, that is…

She will be starring opposite Jon once again, with Haley Lu Richardson appearing as her put-upon assistant, Portia.

Tom Hollander gives Jennifer a run for her money in the scene-stealing stakes as ex-pat Quentin, who is enjoying a holiday with his nephew, Jack (Leo Woodall) and his friends.

The Bold Type favorite Meghann Fahy has joined the fold as Daphne Babcock, wife of Cameron Babcock (Theo James), with the pair attempting to enjoy an Italian getaway with fellow couple Harper and Ethan Spiller, played by Aubrey Plaza and Will Sharpe respectively.

It’s a family affair at the resort for Michael Imperiolo’s character, Dominic Di Grasso, who is traveling with his dad, Bert (F Murray Abraham), and son Albie (Adam DiMarco).

The trio find themselves awkwardly linked to two locals, Lucia (Simona Tabasco) and Mia (Beatrice Granno), who have been frequenting the hotel.

Sabrina Impacciatore rounds out the cast as Valentina, the passionate manager in charge of all goings-on at the White Lotus.

Something tells us she may have her work cut out for her…

The official trailer dropped earlier this month, giving fans their first glimpse into the beautiful hotel.

However, it’s not all fun and games as the camera panned to a body bag being wheeled away – with question marks over who is inside.
