These £89 earrings are the perfect dupe for Kate Middleton’s £1320 pair

Cast your mind back to 2013 when the 40-year-old royal shared official photographs of her holding her first child Prince George.

In the image Kate slipped into a pink Seraphine dress, which she accessorised with Annoushka’s 18ct Gold Brown Diamond Baroque Pearl Earrings.

A few years later, when she stood on the stairs of the Lindo wing cradling Princess Charlotte, she sported the stunning jewellery item once more.

The statement jewellery item, and evidently Kate’s go-to accessory, have since made an appearance when she has attended royal engagements over the years.

Speaking about Kate’s love for the brand, and the statement earrings, founder Annoushka Ducas previously told Hello!: “It makes me incredibly proud.

The 18ct Gold Brown Diamond Baroque Pearl Earrings are set with 26 sparkling brown diamonds, while a detachable freshwater pearl hangs on the 18 carat gold hoop.

However, they come with a hefty price tag of £1,320.

However, we have found a very similar pair of drop down pearl hoop earrings, with a much more purse-friendly price tag for you to channel your inner royal.

Lily & Roo has created the Gold Huggie Pearl Drop Earrings, which retail for £89, which means a saving of £1,231, and you will never be able to tell the difference – in our opinion.

The Gold Huggie Pearl Drop Earrings feature the gold huggie earring, which hugs the lobe, and features dazzling crystals and a fresh water pearl.

However, shoppers can select from a variety of metals to suit their style, from 14ct gold plated, or 14ct rose gold plated, to solic 9 ct gold, white gold and silver.

Depending on which metal you choose, depends on whether you can have crystals or real diamonds fitted into the huggie hoop.

Of course, each variation changes in price, with prices ranging from £75 for a silver hoop pearl earrings, to £395 for white gold variation encrusted with diamonds.
