Taylor Swift has announced that she will be heading out on tour next year, following on from the amazing success of her Midnights album.

Just days after dropping record-breaking music on us, the Bad Blood singer confirmed that she will be hitting the road in March for her Eras tour.

During a surprise video on Good Morning America earlier today, the 32-year-old told viewers: ‘I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you. I’m going back on tour!

‘The tour is called the Eras tour and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career. It starts in the US in stadiums, and we’ll be releasing international dates as soon as we can. I have some brilliant opening acts coming along with me.

‘I’m just so excited that I get to look you guys in the eye and say thank you for everything. Thank you for this incredible week with Midnights and everything you’ve done for me. I just am very excited to see you.

‘Hopefully I’ll see you soon.’

She absolutely will.

The Eras tour will kick off next March, in Arizona, and will hit 20 cities across the country before wrapping the US leg of her performances in August in LA.

Registration for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program is open now for presale tickets, with public passes on sale on November 18.

Taylor has a lot to celebrate at the moment as she has been breaking records left and right in recent weeks.

She then went one better and secured the entire top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, achieving something that no other artist has done in history.

Taylor celebrated the news in a very excitable tweet, penning: ’10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES.’
