Married At First Sight UK stars Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan have denied they are dating after rumours have swirled they are in a relationship.
The barber had a rocky time on the social experiment programme, having been initially betrothed to hairdresser Gemma Rose.
But their marriage soured when Matt developed feelings for another bride Whitney Hughes, who had tied the knot with Duka Cava.
Duka and Gemma made the difficult decision to leave the E4 show, with the experts allowing Matt and Whitney to carry on as a couple.
However, during the last episode of MAFS, Whitney revealed they had split soon after the renewals, blaming the strain of a long-distance relationship.
Since then, speculation has mounted Matt had moved on with Marilyse, who appeared on last year’s reality show and was married to Franky Spencer, after jetting away on holiday.
Further fuel was added to the fire when Whitney shared a loved-up snap of the pair on her Instagram Stories, with the caption: ‘Happpy!!’ to which Matt had commented: ‘This.’
But their rep has shut down whispers of romance in a statement to Metro.co.uk, insisting that they are ‘just good friends.’
They added: ‘Marilyse is being nothing more than a supportive friend to Matt, she knows oh too well how the public backlash to the storylines curated through the editing of the show can impact the men in the cast as it did affect Frankie.

‘There is no romance, they are just good friends.’
The brides and grooms from this year’s MAFS UK are set to reunite for an explosive Christmas special, although Matt won’t be among them.

They explained: ‘Matt has gone to recover from the trauma of the show, as you’ll have seen on Tuesday night it’s taken a toll on his emotional wellbeing.’
MAFS UK is available to stream on All4.
