Warning: spoilers ahead for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 4.
Dakota Schiffer’s time on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has come to an end, having become an undisputed fan-favourite of season 4.
On the latest episode of the competition on BBC Three, the queens took on the highly-anticipated family resemblance challenge – when they’re tasked with creating runway looks for themselves and a partner that they can present on the runway as a matching duo.
While RuPaul was absent from the judging panel, Michelle Visage took over the reins as head judge, sitting alongside Graham Norton, I’m A Celebrity 2022 star Boy George and Drag Race legend Raven as they delivered their critiques.
Boy George appeared to really like Dakota’s runway creations, telling her that it ‘reminds me of Ready Steady Go and Bride of Elvis. So beautiful.’
However, Michelle stated that while she ‘loves’ peach dresses, she wants Dakota, 22, to give them more.

‘I think my issue is that you are beautiful, you are talented but you can also do more than what you’re giving me,’ she said.
‘I know you can because I feel like every time, it’s the same silhouette. You’re dreamy. I just want more, can you blame me?’
Dakota landed in the bottom two opposite Pixie Polite, resulting in the pair lip syncing for their lives to Miss Me Blind, a song by Boy George’s band Culture Club.

After consulting with Ru, Michelle announced that it was Dakota’s time to go home, telling her: ‘Dakota Schiffer, you fabulous woman you. You put the super in supermodel. Now, Sashay Away.’
Dakota was graceful in defeat, expressing her gratitude for her time on the show as she said: ‘Thank you for the most incredible experience and letting me finally have confidence in myself. Thank you.

‘To go out at this moment, it’s impossible to be sad. I’m so proud of myself. I’ve done things I thought I’d never be able to do here. I was the first trans woman on Drag Race UK. To be that representation has been an honour to represent my community.’
After returning to the Werk Room following her elimination, the West Sussex queen left a message on the mirror that read: ‘The Doll may have left the Valley but she certainly left her mark! TRANS RIGHTS!’
Dakota shared how ‘important’ it was to her to talk about her twin and her coming out journey during the second episode of the series.
‘Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to wear their amazing knitted creation so I am very glad that when I went back to the Werk Room after being eliminated, I ran to go put it on ahead of writing my mirror message,’ she said.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns next Thursday at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
