It’s a surprise Dr Disrespect lasted this long before deleting Modern Warfare 2, though it’s almost certain he’ll be back soon.

The love-hate relationship between Dr Disrespect and Call Of Duty might outlast us all, even if the controversial Twitch streamer has now deleted Modern Warfare 2 in a fit of rage.

Sure, the game has had its moments since launch, with many players facing bugs and glitches, but it’s still a huge commercial success, which means that Infinity Ward and Activision are doing something right.

As all toxic relationships go, the Doc has claimed that his criticisms for the franchise come from a ‘place of love,’ though he’s probably still a bit salty he got stripped of his Call Of Duty partnership

Not long ago he bashed Modern Warfare 2 once again, labelling one of its all-time classic modes ‘the worst’ he’s ever experienced in his whole life.

Although the Doc does have a flair for the dramatic, this time around his comments weren’t baseless, as the game seems to reward a more static and less aggressive style of play in some modes.

Now, another one of his streams went sideways when he couldn’t contain his anger after a series of quick deaths and questionable spawns.

What sent him off the rails was when in one match some enemies spawn-trapped him by camping close to the Doc’s team’s spawn spot and killing them in a matter of seconds.

As soon as that happened, Dr Disrespect exited the game and proceeded to uninstall it.

‘That’s all I can handle. Yeah, I’m uninstalling the game right now actually,’ he told fellow streamers and team members TimTheTatman and CouRage.

Trying to avoid the slow gameplay that bugged him in other modes of the game, this time he was playing on Mercado Las Almas, which is one of Modern Warfare 2’s faster-paced maps. So, you can’t say he didn’t try.

TimTheTatman and CouRage couldn’t contain their laughter and even commented they were surprised the Doc lasted this long before deleting the game.

‘I’m switching over to Overwatch, I’m gonna have some fun. Three days… yeah. That was – I’m good,’ the Doc added, aware of his short-lived Modern Warfare 2 days.

He’s been playing Overwatch 2 quite a lot recently, though he hasn’t spared the game from his affections, as he branded its ranked system as ‘gutter trash’ after placing in the Bronze 4 – the second lowest rank tier.

More: Call of Duty

Unlike the Call Of Duty side of Activision Blizzard, which seems to have had enough of Dr Disrespect’s behaviour, the Overwatch side of things seems to want to encourage him.

In fact, the official Twitter page of Overwatch 2 posted a mock-up Agent profile featuring none other than the Doc and his ‘athletic 6’8” build.’

There was even an outline of what each of his abilities would be, with his Passive listed as ‘Just wants to have fun while playing video games.’

Maybe if the Call Of Duty team tried some flattery now and then, the Doc would reconsider getting Modern Warfare 2 back up and running.
