Kanye West has reportedly reached a settlement with a former employee who accused him of using anti-semitic language on past occasions, while also allegedly praising Adolf Hitler.
The Grammy-winning musician is at the centre of controversy after making a series of bold statements, including comments about the Jewish community deemed to be anti-semitic and calling Black Lives Matter a ‘scam’.
West, 45, has since issued an apology to the Black and Jewish communities but he continues to be embroiled in scandals.
It is now claimed that the Jesus Walks rapper has paid a settlement to a former employee, after a total of six came forward to make similar allegations that he used anti-semitic language in business settings and made complimentary statements about Nazi dictator Hitler.
The six former employees, who either worked with West or witnessed him in professional settings over the last five years, allege to have heard the musician perpetuate conspiracy theories about Jewish people.
In court documents reportedly obtained by NBC, West is said to have paid a former employee a settlement but denies the claims made against him.

Ryder Ripps, a Jewish conceptual artist, worked with West on and off from 2014 to 2018 and claimed there were multiple occasions where the rapper spoke positively about Hitler and the Nazis in meetings in 2018.
‘He had told me a bunch of s**t about, like, how “Nazis are good at propaganda”,’ Ripps reportedly said.
Kanye is also alleged to have remarked: ‘Jews have codes.’
In a 2018 meeting, Kanye allegedly said that Hitler ‘had some good qualities’ and that ‘he wasn’t all bad’.

Ripps said he had a change of heart about how serious the statements were after the latest anti-semitism controversy involving Kanye, and said: ‘This is dangerous and disgusting and actually violent.
‘With this pattern that’s happening and with the doubling and tripling down of all this, it’s pretty obvious that this is some kind of disgusting, hate-filled, strange Nazi obsession.’
Ripps added: ‘There is a line, and I think, like, he’s crossed. I genuinely think that he’s crossed it with his current actions and beyond just, like, this is offensive, like these words are offensive. Because I’ve seen an uptick of people, like, personally attacking me … like calling me a Jew on Instagram and Twitter.’
Last month, West had his Twitter account locked and his Instagram account restricted over comments about the Jewish community.
He later apologised for causing upset during an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, saying: ‘I will say, I’m sorry for the people that I hurt with the DEFCON… the confusion that I caused.
‘I feel like I caused hurt and confusion and I’m sorry for the families that had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through. Hurt people hurt people – and I was hurt.’
