Lorraine Kelly’s daughter is celebrating a huge milestone after securing her first home – and not just any home, but one worth over £850k!
The TV presenter, 62, shares Rosie Smith, 28, with her husband Steve Smith, and the mother-daughter duo have appeared on shows like Celebrity Gogglebox together on several occasions.
Scottish TV star Lorraine is never shy about her pride when it comes to her only child, and now it seems she has one big reason to shed some motherly tears of joy.
Announcing the exciting news that she’s become a homeowner, Rosie posed for a smiley snap outside her new property which, according to The Sun, is worth £865k.
She clutched the ‘Sold’ sign and the caption of her Instagram pic oozed happiness, as she declared: ‘Finally,’ followed by a key emoji.
The journalist explained that it’ll be a ‘long time’ until she and Ruby, her sausage dog, move in, as their home is ‘a bit of a doer upper.’

‘So this is a warning that this page is about to be full of interiors and constant questions on my stories about what handle I should pick!’, she told her followers.
The comments section was flooded with messages of congratulations, including from mum Lorraine.
‘You will make it into a beautiful home,’ the award-winning host penned.
She also received a ‘congratulations’ from none other than Craig David, while Lizzie Cundy added: ‘Yay !!!👏👏👏’.
Others wished Rosie ‘nothing but happiness’ as she embarks on the new chapter in her life.

Already excited about Rosie entering interior designer mode, one wrote: ‘Congratulations 👏🏼 Love a renovation pic so keep them coming 😊’.
A third noted how alike she and her famous mum are, branding Rosie a ‘mini Lorraine.’
Daytime host Lorraine shares a close bond with her daughter, previously sharing that they ‘talk about everything under the sun.’
She told Weekend Magazine: ‘We talk about everything under the sun. I’m her mum, though, I’d never say I was her best friend because she’s got her friends already.
‘I’d love to think she tells me everything but she doesn’t.’

Rosie – who studied journalism at Napier University – has also said her mum is her inspiration when it comes to her career.
Chatting to the Daily Record about her parents, she once said: ‘They both work in the media industry – mum on the telly and my dad as a cameraman – so when I was trying to decide what to do with my life, I think I did what a lot of people do and ended up sticking with what I knew through them.
‘At first I thought maybe I should do production and wondered what would be most useful.

‘Then I thought, if I do journalism it means I can pretty much do anything.’
Quashing those nepotism claims, she said, when she was at uni, barely anyone knew who her mum was, and having different surnames tends to work to her advantage.
‘It helps that I have a different last name to my mum,’ she said on making a name for herself. ‘Although it’s Smith on her passport.’
