Matty Healy’s been putting on quite the performance at The 1975’s gigs – which has made for slightly awkward viewing for his mother, Denise Welch.
One fan took to Twitter to share a clip of Matty sitting on a sofa on stage, leaning his head back and sensually smoking with his legs wide open, before gyrating and running his hands over his crotch.
They joked: ‘rip to anyone going to this show with their parents’.
Loose Women star Denise, who is also Matty’s mother, responded to the video, tweeting: ‘What about when you ARE the parent!!!’, along with three uncertain face emojis.
Her followers were quick to joke: ‘This is the point you’d have to go to the bar’ and ‘Denise I’m sorry but the kids will understand one day.’
Others added: ‘denise. for the remainder of the tour i think you may need to block your son’ and ‘I’m way too old to have watched this 3 times! Oh my!’
Another joked: ‘Your son is a beautiful man idk what to tell you,’ as others added: ‘Oh Denise, has he not subjected you to enough’ and ‘close your eyes denise’.
The 1975 are currently on tour in America, with UK dates beginning in January 2023 – in case you’ve suddenly got the urge to get tickets for some mysterious reason…

Matty also previously condemned paid meet and greets with fans as ‘disgusting’, after artists charged astronomical fees to get a photo with their supporters.
The Chocolate singer, 33, who is 1/4 of the British band, along with Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald, and George Daniel, explained in conversation with Zane Lowe for Apple Music: ‘I hate paid meet and greets. You’ve paid for the album, you’ve paid for the ticket, you’ve paid for the parking, you get them in the room and somebody’s gone, “How do we monetise that bit?”
‘It’s no secret that many artists nowadays offer fans a paid chance to meet them in person ahead of their shows.
‘Tell you what, if you want to do paid meet and greets, do them. I stand by it… but you take the money. If you’re an artist and you do paid meet and greets, do it, cash, and you take the money off the fan. I challenge you to do that. It’s absolutely f**king gross.’
