WWE superstar Jey Uso is set to have an MRI for a suspected broken wrist after getting hurt during the recent European tour.
The current tag team champion – who holds the titles with his twin brother Jimmy as representatives of The Bloodline – came out with his wrist and hand taped up for the duo’s Crown Jewel match against the Brawling Brutes.
Lead commentator Michael Cole told viewers that the wrestler thinks he broke his wrist during the recent live dates across Europe, and he’ll undergo a scan on Tuesday to assess the situation.
Cole added Jey refused to leave his brother high and dry, which led to him still competing in the high stakes bout against Ridge Holland and Butch.
In an interesting twist, The Usos are set to defend their titles against The New Day on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, which will come just two days before they can surpass the legendary trio’s record run with the gold.
Of course, Jey missing time – if the injury is legit – will open up some interesting possibilities, particularly as it pertains to Sami Zayn in The Bloodline.

The Honorary Uce has caused some rifts in the family lately, with Jey objecting to the way Sami has found himself a big part of the group, which also features Solo Sikoa and Roman reigns.
This could be a way to have Sami take Jey’s place alongside Jimmy, increasing the tension if he’s able to help them keep the gold as a substitute.
Meanwhile, Sami recently admitted the way the storyline has developed and grown in front of the world on television has been fascinating to see first hand.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘You might have an idea of where this is going, but then certain things might hit, and certain things might not that take it in a whole different direction.
‘I think one huge aspect of this storyline with the Bloodline, to give you an example, that kind of took a lifeline of its one was this whole interaction with Jey.
‘I don’t know if that was ever the big starting point plan, “Oh well we’ll have this huge rift between these two guys”. I don’t know if that’s really what we set out to do at the beginning. It snowballed!’
