Lindsay Lohan was among the thousands of fans cheering on the New York Knicks in their match against the Boston Celtics – and she got a sweet surprise herself in the form of a Mean Girls throwback.
The actress, 36, attended the game last night (November 5) at Madison Square Garden alongside her brother Dakota Lohan, father Mike Lohan, and husband Bader Shammas.
Lindsay was shown on the big screen at the venue waving and blowing kisses to cheering fans after a clip from her breakout film Mean Girls was played.
She took to Instagram to post a selfie ahead of the big game, in which the Knicks came up short 133-118 to the Celtics.
The Freaky Friday star also posted a video up-close to the action from the side of the court during the tense match.

The Knicks’ official Instagram page also gave a shoutout to Lohan for attending the game, comically referencing Mean Girls in their post.
‘You know what! It’s not my fault you’re like, in love with Knicks basketball, or something!,’ they wrote, alongside pictures of the star beaming at the camera.
Lindsay, who rose to fame following her breakout role in The Parent Trap, recently opened up on her marriage to Shammas, describing him as ‘amazing’.
In July, the couple announced they had wed after getting engaged in November last year.
Chatting with Cosmopolitan for The Work Issue, she said: ‘Well, I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person.’
‘Just the best,’ she said of her hubby, who she lives with in Dubai.

Also in the interview, Lindsay praised her loved ones for always being by her side, saying her family and her ‘small group of good friends who are just really good people’ are all she needs.
‘That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones,’ she told the outlet.
The American star will return to the screen with festive Netflix flick Falling For Christmas on November 10, following a lengthy hiatus from acting.
It will be her first major role since The Canyons, released 10 years ago.
