I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is under way once again on ITV and fans are already anticipating a jungle romance between two campmates.
Last night’s episode saw Ant and Dec return to Australia for the first time since 2019, with the last two editions hosted in Wales due to Covid.
The new line-up of famous stars features Boy George, Chris Moyles, and Charlene White, among others, as they were introduced to the reality of jungle life.
But it was the interactions between two other campmates in particular that caught the eye of many viewers watching at home last night.
Many fans of the reality series, which is now in its 22nd year, are hoping that Scarlette Douglas and Owen Warner’s flirtations develop into a camp romance.
‘Scarlette and Owen need to become a couple and have beautiful kids and a spread in OK! Magazine’, one viewer posted on Twitter.

Another fan said they were ‘calling’ Owen and Scarlette, and attempted to predict a potential blossoming romance before it took off.
Another Twitter user predicted that the camp’s most likely romance this year would be between Owen and Scarlette.
Meanwhile, Scarlette’s brother, Stuart, spoke to The Sun last week and teased fans by saying that he would also be watching to see if Scarlette is looking for love.
Fans were left in hysterics during Scarlette’s introduction to the show as Boy George had to give Owen a bit of a lesson in Scarlette’s professional background.

As Scarlette met with Owen and Boy George, the Culture Club singer said: ‘She’s from A Place in the Sun’, clearly meaning the daytime TV show.
Owen, however, took Boy George’s words a little too literally, asking ‘whereabouts?’ before being corrected by the Karma Chameleon hitmaker.

Owen is best known for portraying Romeo Nightingale in Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, a role he’s had since July 2018.
As well as presenting A Place in the Sun, Scarlette has also hosted on the Jeremy Vine show and has appeared as a reporter for The One Show.
