After Olivia Attwood was forced to leave the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here jungle on medical grounds just 24 hours after arriving, her fiancé has revealed he’s still waiting to find out why.

Bradley Dack has admitted he has no idea what happened to his reality star fiancé and learnt of her exit ‘on the news, like everyone else.’

According to reports, the former Love Islander was denied entry back into camp after ‘medical checks’ and is already on her way back to the UK.

Speaking with Mail Online, the Blackburn Rovers footballer said he hadn’t spoken to Olivia but was assuming she was ‘fine’ following the early exit.

After claiming a spot as the first Love Islander to join the show’s cast, Brad explained the 31-year-old would be ‘gutted’ about not being able to continue.

‘She’ll be gutted. I think she’s fine, but I haven’t spoken to her,’ Bradley said.

‘I’m really not sure what’s happened. I just saw it in the news, like anyone else. I’m waiting for a call.’

Tipped to be a contender for the jungle crown, a show spokesperson offered the publication an insight into why Olivia was forced to pack her things.

They said: ‘As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

‘Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation.

‘She has been absolutely brilliant and she’ll be very much missed on the show.’

Returning to shoot in Australia after a stint in Wales due to the pandemic, the fan-favourite series has only ever had one other contestant leave in the first day of the competition.

Despite carrying out her first challenge that involved skydiving out of a plane alongside Chris Moyles, the star is drawing with Elaine Lordan for the shortest stint in camp.

In 2005, the Eastenders actress withdrew from the show after fainting twice during the first 24 hours of filming.

The highly anticipated fixture began its run last night on ITV with a host of famous faces lining up to win the first stars from camp.

After a visit from Ant and Dec, Olivia was chosen to be a VIP and got the option to select a fellow celebrity to dine with.

She enjoyed a plate of fruit and prawns with the former Radio 1 DJ before the pair were flung out of helicopters and marooned on an island with Boy George and Scarlette Douglas.

Catch tonight’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here on ITV1 at 9pm.
