God Of War Ragnarök is out very soon but if you want to start as early as possible, you should check the times for when it unlocks.

PlayStation exclusive God Of War Ragnarök will unlock in less than 24 hours, bringing forth the finale of Kratos’ Nordic adventure.

Besides moving the story forward for the father-son duo, the game adds a suite of new features, ranging from new weapons to armour transmogrification.

You can read our review of the game here, which might be extra helpful given that there are only two proper trailers so far.

If you’ve already pre-ordered God Of War Ragnarök, but you’re not sure when exactly it’ll be available, the launch is on Wednesday, November 9.

As the game remains a PlayStation exclusive, you can download it from the PlayStation Store or buy the physical copy from any games shop.

The digital version of the game has been available to pre-load since November 2, so in case you’ve forgotten to do that, you’ve still got a few hours left to do it.

According to the countdown on PlayStation’s website, God Of War Ragnarök will launch at midnight (12am) on November 9.

How to get God Of War Ragnarök early

As usual, those in Australia and New Zealand will get to play first at around 11am GMT on November 8, meaning if you do the ol’ location switch trick, you can access the game half a day early.

However, keep in mind that you’d need to purchase the game through a New Zealand PlayStation profile, which is probably more hassle than it’s worth.

You won’t be able to use your credit or debit card for the purchase either, so the only way to buy the game would be by purchasing New Zealand gift cards to redeem – which results in a slight price increase.

Ragnarök is the continuation of 2018’s story where Kratos and Atreus must travel the nine realms to defeat Odin.

This time, though, their adventures take place during the mythic Fimbulwinter – a great winter that spans three summers and acts as a prelude to Ragnarök itself.

God Of War Ragnarök will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on Wednesday, November 9.
