I saved $300 on clothing alterations with my invisible fashion hack – it made me red carpet ready in minutes

AN actress found a cheap way to alter her movie premiere outfit with a surprisingly easy hack.

Deanna Giulietti shared that she had an issue with a red carpet look being too long and not wanting to spend a ton of money on alterations on the day of the premiere.

Deanna Giulietti was quoted a high price by a tailor to hem her jumpsuitInstagram

She tried on her highest heels, and the jumpsuit was still too longInstagram

“I just got back from the tailor and they said it’s $300 to hem the bottom of this jumpsuit,” Deanna said shocked in an Instagram Reel.

She held up a bedazzled champagne-colored jumpsuit.

“I’m gonna be walking the red carpet with George Clooney and Julia Roberts! I’m wearing this suit,” she told herself, determined to find an inexpensive alternative.

Deanna tried on the long-sleeve and ultra-long-pant jumpsuit with the highest platform shoes that she owns, showing that the fabric was still pooling around her feet.

Calling over her friend Chase, the pair found a spare safety pin and lifted one pant leg and pinned it to see how the fabric should actually land.

She wanted the pants to reach just above the tops of her shoes.

“Let us know if we should get more safety pins or if we should just get a sewing kit and go Project Runway on it,” Deanna said.

“First of all I need a new tailor… second of all HELP ME – tryna look like a 10/10,” she added in the caption.

People flocked to the comments section to offer help with fashion hacks.

“Definitely more than 1 pin is needed and please, for the love of God, do NOT CUT! Get a 2nd opinion or go with hem tape!,” one person suggested.

And while many people also recommended getting a second opinion from a different tailor, Deanna didn’t have any more time for that.

Others agreed with using hem tape or fashion tape instead.

Deanna made a follow-up video, replying to a comment that read: “You can do it !!! Use double sided tape !!”

“A lot of you said to get hemming tape and this is where I’ve come to get it, CVS,” she said.

Then she gave an update, saying that in addition to not having hem tape, CVS and other locations didn’t have safety pins either.

She couldn’t find safety pins, so Deanna bought fashion tape and crazy glue.Instagram

Instead, she left with crazy glue and fashion tape as backups.

But in a third video, with no time left to spare, Deanna actually found another temporary DIY solution.

As the viral “nobody’s gonna know” audio played, Deanna ripped off a piece of duct tape from a roll.

She lifted the hem of the fabric and folded it inside the pant leg. Then she taped in a circular motion around her calf.

When she dropped the pant leg, the fabric fell perfectly with the top of her shoes exposed just as she had wanted.

She smiled and posed gleefully on the red carpet for the movie “Ticket to Paradise” with no one knowing any better of her cheap and instant fashion fix.

“Nobody’s gonna know… unless now they see this… now they know… STILL COMING OUT ON TOP 10/10. $300 saved BABAY,” Deanna captioned the video.

Someone commented: ”A win is a win lady if anybody wants to be posh tell them to chip in the $300 lmfao.”

Another wrote: “Yasss we love a queen on a budget!”

In the end, Deanna used duct tape to tick the extra long fabric inside the pantsInstagram
