Peter Andre says he is impressed at Jill Scott’s efforts to rap his hit song Mysterious Girl on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, but noticed one small mistake.

The I’m A Celebrity camp mates are clearly finding some creative ways to pass the time, and on Monday night’s show, the former England football player decided to try her hand at rapping.

Getting through a few verses of the 1996 track, Jill proved her chops, and even though she did mumble a few lines, Peter was stirred.

‘That’s close enough and let me tell you, I don’t even know the words in the middle,’ Peter said when appearing on Lorraine on Tuesday.

However he did correct her on the perfume line in the song, in which Jill sung Elizabeth Hurley when it should have been Elizabeth Taylor.

‘It is Elizabeth Taylor perfume, but I’m sure Elizabeth Hurley had nice perfume too,’ he said.

Peter also seemed chuffed by the tribute on the show, of which he was a contestant all the way back in 2004.

‘How nice of her to do that, I love her. She’s a hero,’ he said.

It’s not the first time we’ve been able to hear Scott sing, after the Lionesses stormed a press conference belting out Three Lions (It’s Coming Home) following their Euros win at Wembley in July.

However she’s not the only camp mate to have shown off some rapping skills since the show started, with Mike Tindall taking on Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby and Will Smith’s Boom! Shake Shake the Room after her efforts.

Scott’s rap came before fellow camp mate Olivia Attwood was forced to pull out of I’m A Celebrity for medical reasons just hours after arriving in the jungle.

Things are about to be shaken up though, with former Health Secretary Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh entering the camp soon after Olivia’s shock exit.

But first, Tuesday night’s episode will make comedian Babatúndé Aléshé face his fear of heights in the trial aptly named Horrifying Heights.

Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV. I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs on Tuesday from 9.15pm on ITV.
