Kate Chastain has addressed speculation that Captain Lee Rosbach is leaving Below Deck.
The beloved captain has been a staple of the main series since it first set sail in 2013, and has been dubbed ‘stud of the sea’ by fans.
However, it was claimed that there will be some changes to the upcoming series – which lands on November 21 – with the 72-year-old thought to be stepping back from his duties.
The trailer for season 10 didn’t do much to squash fears, as he could be seen making an emotional announcement to the cast, leaving many in tears.
Appearing on Brandi Glanville’s Unfiltered podcast, Kate – who had some choice words on the Below Deck Med cast – was questioned about the rumormill and whether there is any truth in the claims.
‘He’s always coming back. Captain Lee will probably be on Below Deck for as long as the show is on,’ the former chief stewardess explained.

‘Coming up on the new season of Below Deck – airing this fall on Bravo – there is a change that happens, that has never happened before in prior seasons,’ she cryptically continued.
‘Captain Lee may or may not be the captain some of the time.’
